SYMPTOMS OF INFECTION

Even if you brush and floss regularly, the need for a root canal can still occur. Chips, breaks, decay, dental or oral injuries, and untreated cavities can eventually lead to an infection. THE ROOT CANAL PROCEDURE

In most cases, root canal therapy can be completed under local anesthetic; however, all levels of sedation are available. Additionally, all endodontic procedures are completed with isolation, creating a sterile treatment environment, and using ZEISS surgical microscopes to ensure the highest level of care possible. During treatment, our endodontic specialist will eliminate any sign of infection, decontaminate the root canals and place an internal filling material to seal the tooth. After completion of a root canal, additional treatment may be necessary to support the tooth and provide great long term success.
